a dream poem...
you appeared again
a reflection dancing the surface
in many different black-orange silhouettes,
in places only dreamed.
and still,
a fire burned between us.
we pulled back,
just a little bit
then rushed in for more,
the blazing rumble shook me deeply,
trembling,
i was spent
in the warmth of your arms.
but we knew we could not atone
the sins of our own making
and pulled back,
indefinitely
remaining lost in thoughts our own
and in our split,
my eyes tore opened
in swift and urgent greed
i closed them back tight
to the orange-black light
and with an aching burn,
willed you back into my dreams
there you waited,
flames erupting.
i saw them in your eyes.
