1st in a Series of what might happen to Nursery Rhyme & Fairy Tale characters in real life
Humpty Dumpty's in a wheelchair now
Since he fell off the wall
He's living off the system
Getting very little help at all

People just look down on him
In a literal sense, I mean
They talk above him, round him
He feels he's just unseen.

He has to fight for what he needs
To live a normal life
However, Humpty Dumpty won't give up
He's used to fight and strife

It was in the war as he climbed a wall
That a sniper took the shot
It wouldn't take his life that day
But the fall would hit the spot

Broke his back, he'd never walk,
Never fight again.
At least not as a soldier
This is now, that was then

For now, he had another fight
One with the Government
To find his self-respect again
And a way to pay the rent.
