A poem about someone being in a dark place
Could you save a soul
that sees only one choice?
A soul that hands the dice off for someone else to roll,
is screaming without a voice?

Could you hear her
the girl whose soul is trapped behind bars?
Her milky soft skin not so pure,
riddled with scars?

Could you taste them,
the tears that cascade down her cheeks?
Lost, not a diamond; just a gem
scared of anyone that takes a peak?

Could you feel it all,
the pain that oozes within?
Sitting in a pool of blood waiting for a call
filled with remorse from every sin?

Can you see how she carries a burden
and hides behind a lie?
A whole world hidden;
wishing she could just say good-bye?
