Another thing I wrote a little while ago.
My heart is a music box
Every tune is singing my mood
Unchaining melodies with locks
Some sweet, some filled with brood
I apologize for the visible scratches.

Last time it was turned on
I tried to pull the cord
Before the chorus was gone
Causing its surface to be deeply scored
Bloody grooves in wicked lines.

I hope to find a song you can understand
Maybe something you can sing along to
Wanting it to never end, you take my hand
Play it louder whenever you feel blue
I am your stereo.

I hope you don't leave me behind
My heart plays only for you
Since this kind of music is hard to find
Listen to my feelings so true
I'll bring your hand closer to mine.

Keep me always in your head
Like a favourite song you don't forget
Pressing play as you lie in bed
Drowning out worries making you upset
Sing along to my stereo heart.
