I find a most unusual app on my phone.

Nobody has an app like me;
I found it unexpectedly.
It said in script that was quite thin:
Play me—you’re guaranteed to win.

Such narcissism took for sure
since winning has a grand allure.
This newfound app made me a lord
placating me, yet I got bored.

Oh it was fine at first, I guess,
since I aced every logic test.
Plus I won every game of chess;
it let me be the very best

at any mental task I saw
(my eyes got big—I dropped my jaw.)
Yet like some meat left on the sink,
that, never lose began to stink.

I held the smart phone in my hand
and soon began to understand
that winning every single time
would be like lemon without lime.

Where app had come from, I don’t know;
but now it’s gone—that’s apropos.
That smart phone app was asinine,
like places where the light don’t shine.
