Ingenuity past and present.

Shall I compare the wheel to simple roll?
Mankind’s mainstay for which there’s no regret.
For sure, progress remains a basic goal;
behold the wonder of the Internet!

When printing came along it changed the tide;
available were many books to read.
Steam engines in the work force did abide,
allowing extra force and greater speed.

Today a modern marvel orbits high;
the Hubble Telescope peers into space.
Smart phones are everywhere as folks go by,
yet Christmas dinner rings are out of place.

A simple wonder is my Pilot pen;
this writing place—I sonnet once again.
