A beautiful feeling that you know but can't reach is like a dark rose full of thorns.
So beautifully cruel
A beacon without light
So perfect that it hurts
It could illume my entire world

To know the rose in your heart
And desire it more than life
A thousand days in the dark
Wouldn't begin to describe

What a torture it is to see
The violet, high on its thorny peak
So unreachable to me
A sea of hope draining from my heart's leak

For the most precious of all jewel
My heart is begging for illusion
The dark violet rose
So beautifully cruel
