..........
This wooded area is swarming with interchangeable attitude.
As soon as the lay of the land is my fixation,
a torrent of camouflaged guilt pours from the bluff.
I am washed away with the departing image of her stance,
shaving my brain clean.
My tenuous form has been stripped of its youth.
My flexibility is incurable as I wake beneath the sky.
Alone and feeling I have been stoned by a thousand men,
I tremble with an innocuous devotion.
Fearful noises conjured in my own head,
undoubtedly, convince me to arise.
My thoughts brace for impact as memories claim their occupancy.
They render malicious injustice to become the bearers of falsehood.
Wiping my shame from hours of agony,
the pools of perdition decorated my loss.
At that moment,
I acquitted my own fabricated destiny.
