Herein please find gladsome help for the emotionally-challenged parents of the bride.
O, merry pray thee, tell why this should be,
that wedding souls should give a cross to bear
To loved ones, who've no lasting chance to see
through tears, that wash the face from here to there.

"Glad Mother, I would bless thy name, anon,
such giving hearts are never common-place!
"We love thee from the depths of heart, ne'er gone,
bequeath thee all the greatest Honor, Grace!"

"Dear Child, I bear thee gladsome tidings now,
I gave thee love, when bore thee from the first,
"Be kind as to your new love you do vow
for parting sorrows make me truly versed...

"Soon thoughts commune with eyes so ruby red,
but first I pray for help to bonnie bed."
