Who am I?

I bounce around
from prose to poem,
from happy tales,
to missing home,
I've tears of joy
and tears of pain.
I write of sunshine
and of rain.
I can be you,
I can be me.
I am sadness
and I'm glee.
Sometimes scattered
or on task,
I can wear
most any mask;
a girl, a guy,
a priest, a prude,
it just depends
upon my mood.
Sometimes dark
but sometimes lighter,
I guess I am
the average writer.
