Hiding out.
WEEPING WILLOW

He sits beneath a Weeping Willow
hiding in its leaves.
Using moss covered earth as his pillow
and his dreams as his way to see.

Wind rustling through branches hanging low
bringing soft music to his ears.
Where days of no sleep takes its tow
and where his dreams take away his fears.

His blanket is a mix of sun and shade.
A drop of dew is his kiss good night.
His thoughts slowly and gently fade
as he loses his will to fight.

To fight a life he cannot control
against his imagined dreams.
So he finds it easier to go
and hide under the Willow's leaves.
