Magnificent Sunset

The Prompts:
1. The water was waist deep and like ice.
2. Perfectly visible to the naked eye.
3. An eerie shade of green.
4. They moved methodically.
5. A bell began ringing eight o'clock.


The sun rises above the hills with a
Hue of vibrant colors of red to pink and
Every color which is known to the human eye

Why did I never look at this in such a way?
An amazing event of natural beauty such as
This should always be looked at with awe
Every day of your life for what it is, and you should
Rejoice for the beauty which God has given us.

Whenever I see a sunset again I will
Appreciate it for what it is and watch it in the
Symphony and company of the sounds of nature.

What a beautiful sight to behold
And I wish that time would stand still as
I stand within this body of water and
Somehow I wish to freeze the sunset and
This amazing and splendid moment in time.

Daring to take a breath as it returned I
Enjoyed every moment of the colorful sky and
Experienced it with respect, love, and inner
Peace at last for the growing fiery colors.

A moment with nature I loved as I
Never looked at man's work around me but stayed
Deep within the moment of the sun's disaspearing light.

Light fills the clouds with the sun's light and with this
Inspiring beauty the world seems to be covered with a
Kaleidoscope of the brightest and lightest of colors and
Everything seems to stand still as the sun diminishes.

I feel blessed to see such beauty, and as the
Clouds are left without the sun I pray that
Everday I can use this natural beauty for strength.
