A poem made from the prompt picture for the Nature's Glory Contest.
Palm trees dance in the light breeze,
their trunks steady, their leaves not.
These trees silhouette the blue sea.
Tropical beauties in a land so hot.

A mountain peak reaches for the sky.
The sun sets and colors come to life.
With such beauty, my soul could fly.
I will hold it close in times of strife.

As I watch the sun and its dying light,
and the water which reflects the sun's last rays.
A smile flickers across my face at this sight.
I will remember this image for the rest of my days.
