Popular songs of the fifties.

Favorite Songs

Do you remember the songs in your youth?
I will never forget any of them to tell the truth.
Bill Haley's Comets, rocking around the clock.
Elvis Presley, was certainly the king of all rock.

Carl Perkins, don't step on his blue suede shoes.
Ray Charles, his piano, singing his Georgia blues.
B.E. Kings, his lost rose in the Spanish Harlem,
And the Marcel's singing their hit Little Darling.

Beach Boys, fun till daddy takes the T Bird away.
Don Gibson, singing about the sea of heartbreak.
Bobby Goldsboro's, Honey I'll always miss you.
Bobby Benton's, roses are red and violets are blue.

Tommy Edwards, All in the wonderful game of love.
Fats Domino, now I ask you, Ain't that a shame?
These are a few of my all time favorite songs,
I was in my youth when they first came along.
