I decided to write down some rainy day thoughts.

"Raindrop"

A short walk through the park
on a warm midsummers day.
The sky grows cloudy and dark.
Rain comes to visit us this way!

First one, then two tiny drops.
Some of them are quite round.
One hits my bald head,ker-plop!
Then more on the roofs in town.

Some dripped from oak leaves,
and fell gently on the ground.
Still others hang from my eves,
Until gravity lets them down.

It's rain that makes things grow!
Mother Nature's tears so clear
Rain always has a place to go.
Into the lakes and rivers all year

Many wondrous things take place,
When the rain falls from the sky.
We peek through curtains of lace.
Looking out the window we sigh!
