A teenager, at the crossroads between childhood and adulthood, finds life to be too fast.
LIFE, SLOW DOWN!

Slow down, Life, slow down a while,
Don’t move at so fast a pace.
Moments that passed unnoticed,
Give me a chance to retrace.

Don’t so rapidly unfold,
Every bit Let me enjoy.
By speeding like a whirlwind,
You do verily annoy.

I have yet to realize
Dreams of my childhood so sweet.
Youthful hopes are unfulfilled,
My love I have yet to meet.

These young days will not return,
Let them be fully savoured.
Slow down, O my cherished Life,
Let these days not be laboured!
