Billy raises race horses for money; butchers them at a young age when they quit winning
BILLY
April 19, 2007

He disturbs the dust
off boards he
smacks with hammer
after nails and my heart
with his heartless words
as they come pounding
through my head.

He destroys the flesh
that went into his bloody
wallet to feed his
pleasure and feasts upon
their pay-off as he watches
them die, young and innocent,
and fall at his mocking feet.
