This is also from my school years. So yup. Expect gloomy stuff!

The Comet

It comes
streaking through space,
through the seas of the suns
where we dared to extend our hands
towards.

We sense
Its warm presence.
Our lives flicker. For fate
reaches out an nebulous claw
for us.

We knew
This day would come.
For the dark avenger
descends fast from the horizons
in fire.

No more
will we exist.
Because the universe
has rejected us. Chaos comes
to earth.

We tried
to claim these lands
that had never belonged
to us. We wanted to crush the
Cosmos.

It comes
to claim these lands.
Our lives flicker. For fate
descends fast from the horizons
To earth
