3/08 Give me a four letter word for composure.
It's a quiet world tonight
and I'm nowhere to be found.
Can you say my name
without looking around
in a fear that you might get caught?

Tonight's performance
is brought to you by silence.

We do not war.
We do not peace.
But we sift through
the fluid and the thorough
like we know them by first names.
And I don't want to know the same
          any better.

This is a failure

         resulting in
         an unplanned
         distress.

Oh now how,
how can you help me out?
I might be wrong.
I might be lucky.
I might be wrong.
The first part of harmony
         starts with harm
and I don't know you
any better
than to keep myself
out of its own way.

The best defense is a good defense.

Did we
hold true,
and if so,
why not
now?

It can't be over
          if it hasn't begun.
