Sharing Hearth and Heart

We met on WDC but became more than 'just friends'.

This was an adventure, to share family and home with friends met on WDC.

Would we still 'click'? Would each 'fit' into prior expectations?

How would 'they' react to 'us'? Or 'we' to 'them"?

What would they eat or drink?

Would the weather be OK?

What memories would be created?

After the trip, so much better than we could have ever imagined it to be, we all decided to write something inspired by it. We set a time limit and a word and line limit, but limits don't work for moments like those.

So here's the collection of items inspired - some images too. I hope it inspires other members to visit each other.

I have some other bits and pieces of India in my portfolio, for anyone who cares to make the journey! These are but the little trials of life, seen with my contorted wacky vision.

To really see it all, regal remains, rich colours and culture, heady floral accents on hillsides, towering temples and minarets, pockmarked roads with potholes big enough for entire cars, plastic-bag encrusted rivers banks ... all the highs and lows, you have to come here!
