Sometimes insomnia is not the issue
Midnight approaches,
And sleep encroaches,
But I cannot sleep,
I have duties to keep.

I sit down to pray,
At the break of day,
I feel weariness creep,
I have duties to keep.

Form: A Roundeley has no stanza limits, but must have at least two stanzas. Each stanza consists of four lines, with no specific syllable count. There is no restrictions on syllable count. The rhyme scheme is a, a, b, B c, c, b, B …… with capital B referring to the refrain (repeated throughout the poem) and rhyming with the lower case "b".
