Pleasing him: impossible without faith.
What must I do?

There are many ways, I guess, one can please the Lord.
However in his kingdom one won't win by conquering with a sword.
Faith is our greatest weapon as strongholds it tears down.
With it you can make it and wear a shining crown.
Without it you'll never please him;
For to him our works look dim.
God he looks for righteousness; but there's nothing we can do.
Only trust him like father Abraham and faith will count for us too.
By faith, Noah, perhaps warned of God in a dream,
Worked to build an ark, so God his family would redeem.
When the multitude asked Jesus, "What must we do to be saved?"
He, simply said, believe on me and your sentences will be waived.
Yes, there may be many ways one can please the Lord;
But we know that faith does, and it has great reward!
You see, faith, it pleases God, when works alone just can't.
But, faith alone is barren; as works it can't supplant.
All one has to do is to believe him whom he has sent;
And God will be so pleased, he will make you his holy tent!
