A tribute to hbar and his long battle against leukemia
For John, a Brave Warrior

Behold, in awe, a life lived strong
until the very end.
His cherished ones fought hard with him
in hopes that he would mend.

When all was done that could be done,
we stood, aghast, in stark dismay.
Though the enemy thought to claim his prize,
the lord of Death couldn't keep his prey.

For when all was said and all was done,
we knew, by faith, that John had won.

Soon, mem'ries will drift in celestial dreams,
and angels will come on moonshine wings
to whisk him away on Heavenly beams,
where he joins the chorus as they sing.

"O Death, where is thy victory?
O Grave, where is thy sting?"
First Corinthians 15:55

I wrote this as a tribute to my good friend, hbar , John Hobbs,
a warrior in the battle against Leukemia
