Trying to Comfort someone whose love one has died
Are there any words?

Are there any words that anyone could say?
When your loved one has passed on this way.
Are their kindnesses that can really ease the pain?
When there is so much madness and anger in the brain.

Are there deeds that can be done?
When you have just lost your loved one.
Are there things that could be given?
When you are so angry with God and heaven.

Are there times when all seemed lost?
When you lose the person you loved the most.
Are there ways to heal the pain and stop your head from pounding?
When you feel that that all is lost and you are drowning.

Are there any words that anyone can say?
When your loved one has passed on this way.
Are their kindnesses that can really ease the pain?
When there is so much madness and anger in the brain.

Since there are no words that can express your loss.
I simply pray for you and your dear departed.
Since there is no kind deed that will ease the pain.
I offer you my heartfelt service in Jesus’ name.

Call on me when things get rough and you need a shoulder
Reach out and let me know what I can do to make your life softer.
Let me know how I can help you try to go on living
Tell me what you need so that I can be more giving.
