Happens once in a lifetime. You realize.
As I sat there watching the dark grey take over the clouds and the sky's blue
I realized that the rain falling was as bitter as the tears coming out of you
The feeling of missing something, something that was never yours
Something you never truly had, because it was gone
And something really yours never goes away
It never does

And the wind's song which runs through the vales of asphalt and concrete has no melody
It only brings the stories and heartache of distant lands and distant times
While those who live breathe in and breathe out without knowing
The good and the bad that the distant wind is brewing
Eternal forever, before the world came to life
Finite tomorrow, after the world dies.
