A brief poem about absurdity.
Man Shouted to the Giant

Man shouted to the Giant,
"Tell me the meaning of life
if it is to mean nothing
in the lifespan of this earth.

"What does it mean to people
who are unable to see
sheer, well-practiced talents or
whether or not they have one?

"What should it matter to me,
the climber of many dreams,
when falling seems easier
without effort to do so?

"Perhaps aspirations drift,
and assignment of meaning
amount to nothing but dirt.
Perhaps we all need some...rest."

Man fell silent in wonder.
He reluctantly waited,
until the Giant answered,
"Pardon, did you say something?"
