Lunar eclipse reflections on love
He wants to plant his seeds
Seeds of intention
Underneath the eclipse tonight
He says it will bring growth to his life

I want to sit under the moon
Showing red and growing beauty
In my heart, in my spirit
And hold his fingers

He wants to call his desires
To have more, to give no more
Back to others
Seeking inner growth

I want him beside me
On the sandstone bench
To share the blessing
Of this gift from nature

He says this should not
Be misused by a sentiment
By my longing. I must expect him to
Grasp this event for his needs

He says it will not be present long
And we can be together
At some later time
When the moon does not matter

He wants to inhale the moon
While he can, he should inhale me
Because I depart tomorrow
And will not return
