Platinum and Iridium

I like 'em

I like 'em

Discovered by Ethiopians

Don't corrode

Rarer than gold

In batteries tend

To form the anode

These Transition Metals

Are such fun

White and silvery; like sputum

And best of all

They rhyme with bum
