Aquarius made of Turquois
(w/c: 365)

Unlocking the door to her apartment Angela sees another gift box on the floor. Opening the door she pushes the package over the threshold into the foyer.
“Felix! Come here loyal feline of mine.” Angela put her purse and coat down on the counter.
Felix stretched his long legs. Reaching up he attempted to swat the tassel on her purse but only managed to swat the air.
Angela picked Felix up and gave him squeeze. Turning around she walked back to the foyer. The package was wrapped in gift paper denoting water bearer statues pouring liquid into a vessel.
Bringing the package and Felix back to the kitchen counter she put both cat and gift down. Pouring cold tea into a glass Angela thought about the mystery packages she had been receiving. Most of them contained an object craved from original stone and polished to a bright hue. None of the packages indicated who they were from. All this attention was contrary to her quiet life.
Putting the glass of tea aside, Angela carefully opened the package. Again, there was no indication on who left her the package or where it came from.
She opened the lid of the stiff cardboard box, removing the soft packing materials. Inside the box was a small turquoise statute of Aquarius, the water bearer, seeker of knowledge and truth. The statue was exquisitely carved from a solid piece of turquoise. The look of surprise shown on her face.
“Felix, this is too much. It is one thing to find inexpensive carved stones, small enough to fit in the palm of my hand, but this! The value of the turquoise of a stone this size is in the hundreds of thousands.” Gently removing the statue from its case a folded note dropped from the backside of the stone.
Placing Aquarius on the granite counter, Angela bent over to pick up the fallen note. Unfolding it she read the message:
“I bring you gifts of knowledge, truth, wisdom and loyalty. Guard them well.”
No signature was on the note. Felix rubbed his face on the leg of the statue and purred.
