On a cool summer morning in Colorado, two lovers are lost in the moment.

They sat on a large rock overlooking the majestic valley below
They hadn't been there long, it was morning, the  air cool, the sun low
Sometimes conversation isn't necessary, especially when the poetry is right
So, they sat there feeling the need to be together, sharing a wondrous sight
Across the valley, morning shadows outlined nature's architecture, there was a song bird nearby
A small book below flashed brilliant shads of light, the water chorused a calming reply
Hope, solitude, togetherness and love, most of all love was the reward they felt
Gone from their consciousness was any meaning, they were in rapture, where their hearts dwelt
A distant shriek of a Peregrine Falcon was a short expiation from their moments of sublimity
Both strained to observe the hunter, a brief reminder of nature's balance and stark hostility
A gentle breeze whisked through the cedars and sagebrush, an augmentation transfixing body and soul
She tosses her head back, sheer delight stirring emotions of longing outside her control
The canyon wall of sandstone visages has brought into being a once in a lifetime fantasy
And, the bliss love has written for them has given their souls, inedible abundance daily.

" The Astrolabe of the mysteries of god is Love"
Rumi.
