A poem about unrequited love.
Until

Morning, noon, and night
Thoughts of her
Cover me
Like a warm blanket
In the cold.
I am wrapped
In my love for her
And I desire no release
From this cocoon.
I could sleep here for days
Under her spell -
Feeding off her sweetness
That I can't help but adore.
From day one
She's held me captive,
Here in this beautiful prison
That I fight the pardon of.
I want to live here
In the shadow of her love
Until my saving grace
Comes to free me.
Until then leave me be
I crave her crumbs more
Than a king's feast.
I will survive on this,
Until there is no more -
Until she is done with me
