Charting the Seas of WDC lesson 2 work.
1) I have too many e-mails in my Inbox, but I don't want to delete them. How can I organize them so I can easily find the ones I want to refer to later on?
When you go to the "email" portion of your account, there are 5 tabs at the top. the third tab is "folders". Go there, and then make some new folders in the first section where it says :"create an email folder". Go back to your inbox, and select the emails you'd like to move. Then at the top, click the small arrow, which means "move". A little dropdown menu will appear, and it'll ask where you want to move the emails to. Choose the folder and click the arrow next to the dropdown menu to move.

2) I receive beautiful e-mails from other members, but mine are plain and boring. How do I add colors, new fonts, and emoticons to my emails?
For colors:
when you compose the email, on top of the field where you type your body, there should be a bar starting with the Bold, Italics, and Underline buttons. skip over two to the right, and there's a rainbow button, where you can make text different colors by highlighting the text and clicking the color you'd want the words to be.
For fonts:
Next to the button with the 3 different sized "s"s, there's a fancy looking "F" where you can change the font of your text. It's like using a word processor on your computer- highlight your text you want changed, then click the font you'd like to change it to.
Emoticons:
The very last button on the bar is a *Smile*. Click that and a popup window of all the different emoticons will come up. just do ** and fill in the blank with the emoticon you want.

3) I accidentally deleted an e-mail I really wanted to keep. Can I get it back? If so how do I do that?
Yes, go to the trash section under "folders" and click the box next to the email you accidentally deleted. Then click the small curved arrow at the top to move it back to your inbox.
4) How do I send e-mails to more than one person at a time?
go to compose email, then in the "to" section, list the usernames of the people you want to send the email to, and separate each name with a comma.

5) What happens if my E-mail box is full? How do I get more space in my E-mail box?
You can purge emails from your trash or sent mail folders to get more space.

5) Can I receive my Writing.Com e-mails on my smart phone or tablet like I do my other e-mails? If so how do I set that up?
yes you can, if you have a premium membership. You go to the "settings" on your phone, and add the Writing.Com email account as you would any other email account.
