Lesson 4 answers for Charting the Seas of WDC course
1) I know it's important to fill in the ‘keywords section’ when I create an item. Why? What can that do for me?
The "keywords" section is the section where you can put in relevant words related to your piece. The more keywords you have, the more likely your piece will be found in a search.

2) There are two different paths your can use to get to the Create a new item. . . page. Explain both paths to me, please. Which one do you prefer? Why?

1. on the left hand side bar, there's a section that says "create-review-authors", etc. Click create
2. Go to your portfolio, and under the "portfolio" tab, the first link is "create".

I prefer the first method because it's more direct and I'm a lazy person. *Blush*

3) How can I make it possible for only certain people to access one of my items?
In section 2 of the "create an item" page, there is a "access restrictions" section, where you can choose who you want to see the item: just you, only members of WDC, everybody, or certain groups you are part of.

4) How many different types of item links are there? Please list them for me.
there's the link, link and link.

5) I just purchased an Upgraded membership so I can have images in my work. How do I create images?
first make sure your picture is 400x400 pixels or less. Then you can upload it onto WDC. Go to the create section and click on images. Then choose the picture you want by clicking choose file.
