A poem about the man with Ebola in Texas, more or less from his perspective.
She Lingers

Soaring through the skies
alone, surrounded.

Her frail weight still lingers
in my arms. I ache.

Fleeing from the horror,
I seek a place where horror never visits.

Only to find that some fears cannot be fled,
some weights cannot be lifted,
some solitude is not enough.
