Groups of protesters halted freeway traffic, individuals seated on lanes in both directions on the evening of Tuesday, November 25th, 2014. IH 30 and downtown streets including Commerce have been cleared since 7:00 pm, and at 10:00 pm only a few individuals have been arrested for "public disruption." No individuals have been reported injured at this time.

This protest activity stems from the perceived injustice of a grand jury ruling over 600 miles away from Dallas, Texas, The Ferguson Grand Jury decision not to indict the white officer who shot an unarmed black teen has left some feeling cheated of justice and wronged by the government.

Ferguson has experienced fires and looting associated with protests turned violent have flared the past two nights since the verdict was announced on Monday night television breaking news.
