The Family
Everyone has a family. Whether it is the one they were born into, or one they made on their own. Families can be loving and supportive. Or they can be a source of great trauma and stress. They aren’t always what is considered traditional (mother, father, 2.5 kids), sometimes families are merely a group of friends that care deeply about each other. They can also be single moms, single dads, or just siblings trying to scrap by. Whatever the family looks like, we’ve all got them.

Explore the familial relations in your character’s life. This can include the past, present, or future.

In her past life as Gwenn, Jenn had a mother, Morgan, who served as a royal magus. Her father Alistair, served as a Master of Arms and Horses. Gwenn did not have any siblings, but she grew up with the son of the king and they grew very close.

In her current life Jenn’s parents are divorced. Her mother runs her own business, and her father works in customer service. She inherited step siblings on both sides when her parents attempted to get remarried, but lost them when those marriages also ended in divorce.

After the disappearance and presumed death of her daughter Morgan performed a spell that would link her soul to her daughter’s. Every time Gwenn was reborn Morgan would be there to guide her back to her prince. Morgan’s efforts were constantly thwarted by Brianne the one who originally cursed Gwenn and Matrim to exist within the same lifetime but never be together. When Gwenn and Matrim were reincarnated as Jenn and Matt in the 21st century Morgan sent them back in time to their original lives two years after they supposedly disappeared.

In this strange world of fantasy Jenn must find her way back to Matt. She is assisted by a knew family known as the Clashers. She first meets their leader Taurus who saves her from being accosted by three drunken fools. She makes friends with Lyra who out of respect for her friendship with Morgan retrains Jenn in the ways of magic in the hopes that she will be able to defeat Brianne.
