A poem I had written years ago
How I long to feel your touch again;
Your eyes speak to me, your lips silent,
As you tell me how much you need me,
And how she no longer cares.

Selfishly, I wait for you,
Hoping tonight you can steal away
And join me in our bed, our bed of lies.
To keep you near, I need only believe...

Believe that you love me, you need me;
You won't be kept from me, not by her.
We are soul mates; we are one.
How sad you found her before me.

Though this love is tainted; forbidden,
It is all I live for, all I dream of.
Thoughts of others are chased away
By the memory of your hands, touching,

Caressing, telling me I'm yours, yours alone.
Your mistress awaits here in the night,
Waiting to touch you, to taste you, to love you,
Waiting in hope that this time you'll stay...
