The poem I wrote about my allergies.
To spring, to flowers and to trees,
I’d love them, but for allergies,

I'd love the grass and clovers too,
If I didn't go "achoo!"

I’ve made a list of all the things,
That causes all my sufferings,

Let’s start with pollen from the air,
That blows onto my clothes and hair,

Or scented soaps, or strong perfumes,
That every breathing space consumes,

The weeds that grow, the grass that’s mowed,
The little girl with cat in tow,

I’d love to climb the trees outside,
But in my house is where I hide,

And yes, I know air comes from leaves,
I do like air when I can breathe!

I sniffle and I itch a lot,
And Kleenexes I fill with snot,

The sneezing fits against my will,
The nasal sprays, the many pills!

So while I like all plants and trees,
I wish they didn’t make me sneeze!
