We're often told about the beauty of love. But what about the pain?
When you lie awake in bed
Because they just won't leave your head
Is that love?

When you cry yourself insane
Because you know that they're in pain
Is that love?

When the thought of being apart
Feels like spikes inside your heart
Is that love?

When you're okay with being sad
Provided that you know they're glad
Is that love?

When your own needs you ignore
Because their feelings matter more
Is that love?

When you go through so much hurt
Yet it feels like it has worth
Then, so tell me, am I right
When saying that's what love is like?
