I am of the opinion that some poems, like this one, are meant to go in a circle. Enjoy.

-You-

You
Not me
Yes you
See
Pay attention
Please
Do it now
Not later
Then
It’ll be too late
Beyond gone
Never
A second chance
It’s only here
It’s only now
In this moment
No other
Confused yet
You should be
At least
It seems so
You
The sheep
Pointless
And moot
Just a copy
Of every other
No difference
Not a one
Same is
Same as
Like before
Another whore
Living life
Fighting it twice
Once
Regarding creation
The other
Opposing obliteration
You won’t win
Nope
Never
Not meant
Not supposed to
Your existence
Just like mine
And everyone else’s
An absolute sham
Fakeness empowered
To the enth degree
You
Sounds cute
Implies personality
Complex duality
But indeed
That is not the case
No how
No way
Just one of many
A copy of a copy
And then some
We live
And we die
In less than
A blink of an eye
Why we are here
Never will be clear
Both sad and true
These are the rules
We will be forgotten
Making us
The unremembered
Ensuring us
Nothing significant
Maybe we
Really I mean you
Will go to Heaven
There you’ll meet God
Then again
The word maybe
To me
Is a nice way
Of saying no
No way
No how
But to you
It means yes
Certainly
Without question
If so
Why not say yes
Absolute
Finite and infinite
Why not be sure
Beyond all question
Devoid of reproach
A stone in the sea
A cloud in the sky
A leaf upon a tree
A flash in his eye
As well as your own
All of them are one
You
Are playing a game
I’m playing as well
The outcome
Not the same
Not even close
Not even remote
Pay some attention
This nonsense
That I’m spewing
Just may save your life
Or at least
What you consider life
Maybe it
And by “It”
I mean the sum of it all
Will fill that hole
That one in your head
The one in your heart
However small
You assume
Rest assured
It’s still there
Mine is a crater
By comparison
Via skepticism
I question it all
I guess
So that you
Don’t have to
You could thank me
But you won’t
Increasingly confident
Am I
That there is little
To no excuse
For either one of us
I know it’s sad
But it’s true…
