Images from a codependent life
Two fallen leaves
Whisked upon the wind,
Left standing near a pile
Both tall end up.
One straightness from
The laws of gravity
Mutually bending.

Drawn together
Like magnets straining,
Almost blending,
From a cluster form of Fall.

The heavy humid attraction
Has drawn the two to one
Random dewdrop,
Perpetual glue,
Left to the world,
And the next swoosh.

They swirl together.
These two fallen leaves
Becoming a locomotion
In accapello harmony.

A journey through time
As one,
Disguised
In two parts.

But two can't be one
Harmony becomes
Empassioned pleas
To find self-identity.
Life unsupervised.

And more problems.
Codependents need help
To not so depend
And suspend their other.

Two cannot be one.
Codependents try,
And end up miserable.
