Carolyn, siblings, storm. Do the math.
Jeez! Would those two ever shut up? Carolyn fumed to herself as she heard her siblings squabble two rooms down. AH! Her head thumped onto her writing desk. Bad enough with the storm going on outside that kept her inside with these lunatics. She had to complete a short 2-3 minute speech on the liver for Health Class tomorrow. Honestly, sometimes life was so dull. She continued writing as the storm raged on outside and her annoying siblings argued on. Their mom wouldn't be home for a few more hours yet. It was already 5:30 in the afternoon in their quiet little suburban home in Colorado. She refocused on her assignment. Honestly though, the human body was a boring topic for most people to get excited about. She'd have to really grab people's attention to avoid them zoning out during her speech. A good 20 minutes later she accomplished what needed doing. All that remained was rehearsal. She rehearsed her speech for the ''amazing'' liver a good 3 times. Not long after she heard her mom pull into to their garage. Her siblings oblivious to everything around them as mom came up the stairs and shouted'' You guys, shut it, mom's exhausted. Dinner in 15.'' Her mother's footsteps retreated and her siblings finally were silenced. Carolyn smirked as she lay on her rocking out to Katy Perry. ''I've got the eye of the tiger..
