This is a short poem about a child going to school.
The youth of a modern age.
Awakens to see a new day.
To school he heads like the rest.
To get a great grade on a test.

Young children around the town.
Head over to school; where they learn.
The school was old; pupils learned from 1907 to now.
Still many don't like it, to go home the students yearn.

The cycle repeats every day.
Except when there is a break.
Or the scholar turns 18.
But that is where the path to college is seen.
