The lengths we go for perfection.

As I move up the line I smile, taking in the scene ahead of me. People are removing belts, shoes and even jewellery.It's a hassle, but it has to be done. We all know the routine. As we get closer to the desk it's time to nip out to the toilet.Well, that could make the difference between success and failure. Week after week we put ourselves through this and for what? I was just about to find out.

"Okay Julie, hop on the scales"

I take a deep breath, and wait.

"Great, Julie, you've lost a 11b

"Success !".
