For sports junkies like myself to unite and celebrate - a rhyming poem.
A magnificent result, the reward of all time,
A championship banner, for fans, so sublime;
Plenty of players, deserving of rings,
Advancing the cause while the announcer just sings...

Athletes defending with skill sets unreal,
Preserving a chance with aggression and zeal;
Offenses charging, protecting and flying,
They're on everyone's radar, yet still keep on trying.

Home is still dandy, but you must hit the road -
Miss all of your family and your sacred abode.
But you treasure the victories in each of these towns,
Ignoring the boos with your teammates, those clowns!

But some might have power and speed to prevail,
So just go for the gusto, this ship must set sail!
They shall crown a champion, one of these days -
Sometimes takes forever, no matter who plays...
