All I Feel Is Fear

Everyone tries to be different
Looking for a place to shine
I just wanna stay here in peace
And never have to cross that line

But everything will fall to pieces
If I don’t try with all my might
Maybe if I don’t stay still too long
Someone will show me a light

Cause in this world
Where everything’s full of space
If I don’t jump now, don’t dive in
Then I might lose my place!

If I touch the ground I know I’ll fall
If I give up now I’ll lose it all
If I touch the sky maybe I’ll die
If I don’t reach out I can’t get by
Everything’s up in the air
If only I had the nerve to dare
There’s millions of things out here
But all I feel is fear

Someone may be a hero
While someone else just passed their test
While everyone tries to be something
All I wanna do is rest

Choices aren’t always so easy
Especially when it’s do or die
But who am I to say it’s hard
When I won’t even get up and try

To build a city
You have to have a solid base
