Poetry about initial intentions and foreshadowed outcomes
I found your heart in my pocket

And I thought it very charming

Strewn 'round my neck like a locket

You left everything disarming

Prophetic sex

Kept me there for you in whole

Magnetic hex

I thought I was in control

Now my pockets are all empty

In my chest's a barren land

Your efforts need not tempt me

When my heart burns in your hand

Endured such vex

Or more so needed

Mused the wrecks

From our love proceeded

The false illusion

That I'd been winning

A cold conclusion

From a cold beginning
