As I closed the book I'm reading, I suddenly imagined things out of nowhere
Daydreaming in a kindled night

I was daydreaming in a kindled night

I found it contradicting, day was used for the night

So silly of me, daydreaming is one word

I looked for it, it's a fantasy for another world

I was daydreaming in a kindled night

I read and studied, then wondered for what it might

As long as I can see, I will look in sight

I didn't know, it's for my future's bright

I was daydreaming in a kindled night

Stared randomly at a radiated light

We talked, we grinned, we quivered, we called

The confabulation we had, caused my heart to fall

I was daydreaming in a kindled night

As I waited for the sun to shine bright

Longing for the night to stay late

What can I do? To extend the night was not my fate

I was daydreaming in a kindled night

Then I found myself staring ineffably somewhere that night

Funny, I've thought a lot of things before

I snapped, then I remembered, I was thinking of you
