A poem focused around sound and using a sort-of-not-really-sonnet form.
Kewl
Oh, cool it kid! You are not cool kid! You,
you are a quiet kid. Quit it kid! You
you are a twig, kid. You’re our hit kid, kid.
you’re the bent kid, broken black and blue kid,
you’re the trash kid. Take our trash, kid or we’ll
hit, kid. Shouldn’t have hid, kid. You scared, kid?
You’ve become a cold kid. No compassion kid,
the “should I jump” kid, the constant slump kid
the “lack of love” but “always in love” kid
the kissless kid, searching for a kiss kid

Breath. Cool it kid.
Be the cool like the wind, like cool mint kid
Be the cool like the quiet morning, kid
You’re not kewl, kid. You’re a cool kid.
