A description on the moon and sun watching over the stars.
The sun hovered over the city. Standing proudly in front of the clouds. As you looked at the sky you would see the sun letting off an aura of yellowish gold, oranges and pinks streaking the sky in an ordered fashion. The pale blue sky faded into the sun’s aura, merging all the colours together.
Buildings towered over people, blocking off most of the sunlight, leaving the city in shadows. The city gets darker as the day progresses, and the moon is ready to rise. The sun ignores the moon’s threats to take over the sky, and keeps the aura as its protection.
It’s as if the sun’s giving off its final performance as if to say, to the moon, “yes, you are coming and I can’t stop you. But at least I can create all of this.”
After a while, the sun finally gives up and goes to sleep, leaving the moon to watch over the stars and to alter the sun’s aura. As the moon rises, the sun’s aura fades to grey, and wraps around the moon like a blanket, waiting.
Waiting for the stars to awaken.
People, all around the world, believe that the sun and the moon never see each other, but they do.
They see each other every day protecting the sky and watching over their stars.
